One of the last true local bars in Playas del Coco, beachfront, with local tunes, dogs underfoot, and an ocean view travelers call unbeatable. People rave about the Casado carne, that tender beef with onions and peppers, plus fresh ceviche and patacones, all cold beer and fair prices. It's the pura vida spot regulars pick over any Americanized place in town.

I’m a self proclaimed chef and travel the world. At times marginal at best. This is an exception. The Cassado Carne was unbelievable with the tender beef onions and peppers. The savory sauce wants you to slap the back of your brain with your tongue. No doubt one of the best of multiple trips to Costa Rica. A hidden gem.
Great restaurant! Food is excellent, drinks are cold. Sitting isn't the best but prices make up for it with a great view of ocean. Popular with tourists and locals.
Beer was COLD Service was excellent. Food hit the spot!!!
