A laid-back Playas del Coco bar-restaurant where the passionfruit margarita is the standout and howler monkeys sometimes turn up in the trees above your table. The menu is short, so ask about the off-menu daily specials, and there's live music some nights. It's built more for drinks and hanging out than a formal family dinner, well-priced and easygoing.

This restaurant was our first stop on our 10-day trip back to Costa Rica! We wanted to immerse ourselves slowly, so we picked a place with an English name :) The passionfruit margarita I ordered was amazing. I requested the chicken skewers but they were out of chicken; the beef was tough but tasty. A great welcome back to Costa Rica!!
Seems like a great spot to have a bunch of drinks. Food was super mediocre. I wouldn’t recommend it for families but solid for folks looking to have a few and hangout.
Nice ambience, food is tasty with reasonable price. There’re no many options in the menu, but they do offer special food off the menu, just ask them what they have for the day. There’s live music sometimes which is very nice.
