Costa Rica In, Best Guanacaste Tour Operator is who is booked for a private day boat tour to snorkel at the remote Bat Islands. The boat ride was about an hour to the best spot to snorkel and there were only 2 others boats who got there about an hour after us. Captain Antonio and Ospaldo were phenomenal guides!! I would absolutely do this tour again and will recommend it to everyone!
The Day Trip to Bat Island was on our bucket list of things to do in Costa Rica and it certainly did not disappoint. Communication from start to finish was great and the payment process was straightforward. Staying in Playa Hermosa made it easy for us to meet our boat crew early in the morning. Mario and Valentine looked after us the entire day. Snorkeling was some of the best we have ever done. We managed to see dolphins, sharks, schools of puffer fish (this was a first for us), octopus, trumpet fish, eels, snakes and not to mention all the other fish. It was just the 3 of us for a good few hours before another boat arrived which made it so special. Cannot thank everyone involved for making this such a memorable day. Not to mention we did a spot of fishing on the way back and managed to reel in a decent size tuna that we ended up letting go. Stopping by Witches Rock on the way back to Hermosa was nice way to finish of the day. Mucho Mucho Gracias.......
