Dave's All Day Breakfast

We waited 50 minutes for 7 meals in an empty restaurant; no one else was there. The coffee is atrocious, it tasted like burnt Folgers and that is embarrassing considering that this is a touristy beach place in **Costa Rica!** They have no idea how to cook eggs, my sister and brother had to ask them to re cook them and my sister had to ask twice. It was still not right after that. My brother in law also got eggs that were practically raw and he just gave up. The orange juice is super watery. I ordered the chicken omelette and it had American kraft "cheese" for the cheese option and the inside of it was really gooey. The only good thing going for it was the ambiance, it was deceiving. There is a plethora of breakfast food restaurants in the coco area, choose a different place. Considering their speciality is breakfast, I can't think of giving a more embarrassing experience to their customers.

Really good food with huge portions, especially the burrito (there are actually two). The waffles were very good but less filling, so I was able to help with my wife's second burrito. I agree with the friend who told us to visit that I'm not a fan of the sausage, so next time I'll get the bacon. Service was a little slow but friendly and I'm always happy to find a clean restroom. Prices were very reasonable, especially for the area.

Disgusting! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! I was extremely disappointed. The food was disgusting and completely flavorless! It took forever to arrive. Bland meal. The owner was unbelievably narcissistic and odd. While I was trying to enjoy my meal, she was in the background (kitchen)singing as if she were performing for her employees, disrupting any conversation. Then, mid-meal, she approached me, upset about a billing error from the previous day caused by her waitress’s mistake. I had only asked for a side of beans, but they served me an entire plate. I was willing to pay, yet the confusion and poor service ruined the experience. Unprofessional and rude. This place is horrible all AROUND! Terrible experience! Right as I was about to have breakfast, they brought out the waitress to ‘verify’ something from three days ago. so rude and unprofessional. It completely ruined the meal. I didn’t even eat the stale, nasty food. Definitely not coming back!
