Green Villas El Coco

We had a lovely stay at Luxury Coco Villas. The villa was very clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, and the pool area creates a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The location is convenient, just a few minutes from the beach and local restaurants. The staff were wonderful — friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. A special thank you to Ariel for his kindness and great service during our stay.

Great location - everything is walking distance. Rooms are clean and comfortable, missing coffee pot, but not necessary with being so close to downtown, pool is clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. We enjoyed our stay here.

We spent out last 4 days of the our trip through Costa Rica. We were expecting a tropical oasis when looking at the price level of this accommodation. We were expecting a quick walk to the beach but in fact the road is blocked. There is a huge pool of mud in front. You can’t even walk there. The smell of open sewage is sickening. The apartments are close to a few open air bars. The sound level they produce is insane, so difficult to get good night sleep. The interior is very outdated. The towels and bedsheets are old, worn and discolored. The pool looks awesome on the website. Please look at the detailed pictures in this post. If this accommodation would cost like 1/3, it would be ok. But definitely not 4 stars as is.
