About
A beach house hotel where the sand is right there and the view earns constant mentions, along with a good included breakfast and staff, Cesar comes up by name, who'll sort airport transfers, bus tickets and dive packages. Book with clear expectations: some rooms have no AC or hot water (bring a fan), and mornings can be noisy with breakfast clatter, motorbikes and roosters. Come for the location and the service.

I got the heads-up that there was no AC in the room I booked, so I brought my own fan, plus used the hotel fans, and made it work. I would recommend you do the same. The beach is RIGHT there, so I really enjoyed the view and walking along the beach every day. The staff is great. I left something in my room after check out, and they were very quick to contact me to let me know! Breakfast every day was the perfect start to adventures, and it was very handy to have the front desk schedule a car to get me back to the airport. Good for relaxation, away from the noisy birds, which are everywhere anyway. Would love to stay again!
Very good hotel to stay in Playa del Coco. I took the package to go diving with Deep Blue dive shop. Their offer is very competitive, breakfast is included, and I even had a room with AC. There’s a big terrasse and balcony area to chill after a beach day shared for all hotel members. There’s no hot water but that’s completely fine as the days are so warm there. Only con is that my room was not bright and I always had to light up the lights even during the day
No A/C or hot water. We had to defrost the fridge because it was not cold. The tv was ok, but the salt air has been damaging the electronics. Beach view is beautiful. Breakfast is great, but if you want to sleep in, you can't. It's very noisy. I wear the best earplugs available, but it can't dampen out the noise of dishes, chatter and childen. Our room was right beside the dining area. The motor cycles are loud all night. The roosters start crowing at 1:30 am each morning. The smell of sewer gas is bad. This is a perennial problem in Latin America. The location was convenient. Our staff was friendly.
