About
A seafood restaurant tucked above the Playas del Coco strip, look for the staircase behind the tree with the octopus sculpture. When it's on, reviewers love the seafood soup and seafood-loaded rice, huge shareable portions, and a giant lobster. It's a higher price point and reviews aren't uniform on consistency, so it lands best when the kitchen is fresh.

The food was ok. We’ve had better fried fish and lobster. My husband ordered the lobster which was served with rice and salad. I ordered the fried snapper with rice and salad. My husband commented his lobster tasted frozen so that was pretty disappointing. As for my fish it was pretty bland the way it was fried was good but not much flavor. I will say the butter sauce that comes with the lobster was delicious so I used that to give the fish a little more flavor. The rice…..well it was hard and it didn’t taste fresh at all. I think for the price we paid it wasn’t worth it. Still give them a try maybe they were having an off day and your experience may be different from mine.
Fresh and delicious seafood. Portions were huge, so you can definitely split an appetizer and an entree and walk away very full. We got the Papagayo seafood soup and the seafood rice. Both were loaded up on seafood and extremely flavorful. It’s a little hard to find, but the staircase is right behind the tree with the octopus sculpture. Definitely try it out and you won’t regret it!
Recommended to us by our tour guide and it definitely did not disappoint. A little higher price point, but you get what you is for. The food was amazing and so was the service.
