A small ice cream stop in Playas del Coco, part of the Costa Rican Pops chain, where the draw is genuinely natural, old-style-tasting ice cream and shakes (the cocoberry shake gets a nod). A local recommended it to more than one visitor. Service reviews are a little mixed, but most come away happy with a simple, refreshing treat.
