Sea Wave Sportfishing Costa Rica Guanacaste Golfo Papagayo

On December 30, 2025, our family spent the entire day on the God Will boat with Manual, Andray and Jaime off Playas del Coco. They were an excellent, knowledgeable and patient crew who helped us sportsfish and catch some beautiful Jack Cavelle and Red Snapper. There were plenty of cold drinks for us to enjoy throughout the day They also took us to a cove to snorkel after hours of fishing. Jaime guided us around and would point out beautiful coral and fish. While we were snorkeling, Manuel and Andray prepared for us a delicious spread of local snacks and also cleaned our fish. We finished off the excursion with a gorgeous sunset cruise. Sergio, the owner of the company, was very responsive and helpful. He also helped us locate a restaurant at the pier that prepared our fish for dinner. It was a very wonderful, beautiful day that our family will always remember!

Sea Wave is hands down the BEST! The booking experience with Sergio was seamless and he was super helpful! We were so thankful we were able to book 2 different charters with this company. We did a 4 hour charter and a 8 hour charter. We caught roster fish, jack, and needle fish. We stayed inshore to fish and had lots of action. My two boys and I had an absolute blast with Seawave Fishing Charters. From the moment we stepped aboard, the crew was incredibly welcoming and attentive—keeping us comfortable with delicious snacks and drinks throughout the trip. When my young boys unexpectedly got very seasick and we realized deep-sea fishing wasn’t in the cards, the guides seamlessly pivoted to in-shore fishing without missing a beat. Their flexibility, kindness, and professionalism truly stood out. Best of all, everyone caught fish and we all headed home happy. We enjoyed a delicious fish dinner that night and even brought home enough to share with the neighbors—an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!
