About
A relaxed, family-friendly soda near the beach where staff kept kids busy with puzzles and Hot Wheels while the food came out. The fish tacos and the casado, drink included, are the consistent wins, well-priced and tasty. One honest note travelers repeat: confirm the price before ordering any off-menu 'special,' since a few were surprised at the bill.

Relaxing soda and probably the cheapest food at a restaurant anywhere near the beach, but still delicious! The staff were super kind as well, talking to my kids about the cats on the street and even bringing hot wheels and puzzles while we waited on the food. Which was delicious! Sangria was not too sweet, my kids enjoyed their pasta pomodoeo and cordon Bleu, and my fried pork ribs were crispy and salty and yummy. Great night here
CLARIFY THE PRICE FIRST!! I was recommended this place by my dive buddy as an affordable place to get local food. It's my second day so I go to get lunch, and the prices on the menu look great, I'm like, awesome, I've found my spot for the next week! Waiter asks if I know what I want, I point to the fish filet for 4500 CRC. He says oh, we have a filet today of Mahi Mahi with shrimp. I don't like shrimp so he says they can put calamari on it. I say okay. Food comes out, and everything is great except the sauce, I can't even describe the flavour, a bit Cajun, lemony, butter, cream. I removed most of the sauce and ate the rest. The bill comes, and I find out the meal was over 12,000CRC, more than any item on the menu!!! I don't mind paying for good food, but he didn't mention anything about it being 3 times the price of what I pointed at, just for 3 calamari rings on top, but no salad or other things that normally come with the dish. So I guess my bad on this one, but I don't think I'm wrong to think that's something that should be mentioned when offering an alternative dish similar to what I just ordered. He made it sound like it was the only fish they had. Too bad, I won't be back based on principal, feel like they saw a solo gringo in for one meal and got as much off him as they could.
We had dinner here last night . Reservations are recommended. We tried to walk in the night before and even with empty tables were turned away. So as for the food it was great. Fair amounts of food and the appearance was nice , tasted great . Service was a bit slow to get drinks and anything from the servers . Over all the spot is worth a try and pretty decent.
