Tortuga Verde Glamping

Super great experience here at Tortuga Verde Glamping. I have never stayed in a tent/yurt and wasn’t sure what to expect. But it was quite lovely. The small pool/basin is perfect for a little refresh after spending time at the nearby beach. You also have nice chairs and towels if you want to hang outside for a bit. The room did have a bit of an odd smell when I got inside that went away after letting the air or fan run a bit - it gets hot with the sun so I think it was that. The air unit cools off the room quickly so no worries about ever being too hot in the room. I had breakfast every morning which was perfect, beans with rice, eggs, sausage and fresh fruit along with coffee and juice or water. Perfect to get fueled before starting the day. Thank you to the team there. I didn’t get everyone’s name, but I do remember Lydia who was always smiling in the mornings, and was just so pleasant to talk to. All of the staff were super nice and helped make my stay super pleasant. I hope I get to come back one day!

I personally loved the place. Staff is very friendly. Every room (tent) has a little deck and feel very private. Breakfast is good but same every day, still if you want to go explore Costa Rica's nature instead of thinking where to have breakfast it's a big plus. You can hear cars passing by which could be annoying in the evening, but it didn't spoil our overall expirience.

Absolutely beautiful property! Best glamping experience we’ve ever had! The room was so clean and comfortable Linda always made sure we had fresh towels and clean sheets from our long beach days, Geldy was so friendly and welcoming showing us the property and answering any of our questions even helping us get a taxi to the airport after hours. The complementary breakfast was so good a great way to start our Costa Ricans morning with local and delicious food! 10/10 would recommend this place will definitely be adding to our list of places can’t wait to come back!
