About
Italian cooking in Coco that a former New Jerseyan calls the real thing: the four-cheese pasta with its rich creamy sauce, the Fettuccine Boscaiola, and a long list of pizzas. Ingredients taste fresh and plates are nicely presented. The indoor room is small but has AC, worth choosing since the patio sits on the main road with the noise of cars and motorbikes. Service can run slow even when it's quiet.

We had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at this restaurant in Costa Rica. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with their kindness and attention to detail. The atmosphere was beautiful, relaxed, and full of local charm. The food was outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the care that goes into every dish. Whether it was the pasta dish and pizza or the drinks, everything exceeded our expectations. What truly stood out was the service. The team went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our evening. If you’re visiting Costa Rica and want a memorable meal with excellent service and authentic flavors, this place is a must-visit. We will definitely be coming back!
My husband and I along with my Aunt and Uncle had a lovely dinner here. I had the Fettuccine Boscaiola and my husband the classic lasagna. I had a mint lemonade and my husband had a traditional lemonade. The food was delicious. The presentation great. The atmosphere nice. It’s on the main room so if you sit outside you will have the noise of the cars and motorcycles which ca be loud however they have an indoor dining room. The service was very slow. They were not busy so I’m not sure why it was that slow. The staff were friendly enough. As the food was delicious I would return.
Speaking as someone who lived 10 years in New Jersey, this is absolutely fantastic Italian food. We had a four cheese pasta, which was deceptively tasty with a rich rich creamy sauce. Also a large pizza which was half margarita half meat lovers. Incredible. As good as NJ, and better than anything I've had in the last subsequent 15 years in Florida. Cannot commend this place highly enough, wish I'd found it before and will be back. Six stars out of five. Editing to add that it has air conditioning, unlike many other restaurants in the downtown area, which made it nice to not have to fight the flies.
