A true local cantina — order at the bar, ideally in Spanish, with friendly dogs around and a DJ some nights. The food reviewers return to: casado plates, well-seasoned chicken, guacamole, and fried shrimp one visitor said stole the show, crisp breading and all. Great local bar/restaurant. Good food, nice quantities, reasonably priced.
Great food, great drinks, authentic and cute dogs. We had one of the best meals here. We accidentally stumbled upon this place and are so glad we did. We had Casado plates and a really good appetizer but I do not recall the name 😳. Go here, and be prepared to order in Spanish. When I’m Costa Rica, do like the Ticos do.
Great spot in Costa Rica to have a drink...beer/ shot. I loved the guacamole and local chicken dish. The chicken was seasoned right. Que Rico. DJ Richard was on point
