Awesome little coffee shop in a food court style area next to a micro brewery! Great service, delicious food, and love the location! I ordered an iced coffee and my friend ordered a bagel sandwich here, both were on point! Love the location next to the micro brewery and has great neighbor reasturants if anyone was feeling like anything different! Recommended! Check it out!

If you’re anywhere near Potrero, Carpe Diem 2.0 is an absolute must. I’m not exaggerating when I say I loved their chai tea so much that I woke up extra early before heading to the airport just to get one more cup—and I really love my sleep, so that says everything. There’s something about this place that just feels right—great vibes, welcoming atmosphere, and clearly a lot of care put into what they serve. But that chai tea? Next level. It was the perfect send-off to an amazing trip. If you go, do yourself a favor and don’t skip it. I’d come back just for that alone.

(I also shared this review on tripadvisor.com) Great coffee! Great food! Great service! Great ambiance! Great service! Did I mention this place is great!?! We live in Surfside/Potrero and Carpe Diem 2.0 is our favorite breakfast spot. The outdoor seating is a charming courtyard. Clean restroom. They speak english, but try out your spanish anyway! The avocado toast and omelette are fabulous. Fresh and with lovely presentation. The omelet is different from typical. It's spread flat, but still tender. The toppings are perfectly sautéed. They drizzle a little olive oil and parsley over it. (Pic) The crusty bread on the avocado toast holds up well. The house salsa de picante is smokey and vibrant. They have it for sale along with coffee, chocolate, jewelry, etc. It can take a while to get your food, so if you're not feeling the Pura Vida, come another day! The staff is very thoughtful. This place is a gem!
