Waking up to howler monkeys swinging in the trees outside your cottage — three separate reviewers tell that same story. Hosts Marie and Tom go well past the usual: sunset outings with the guests, sightseeing tips one couple called invaluable, even a ride to the dentist when a traveler needed one. The property is private, gated, and genuinely quiet — at night you hear birds and monkeys, nothing else — with a relaxing pool and barbecue area, about five minutes from the beach at Brasilito.

This place was the best place to stay on our trip to Costa Rica. Marie was an awesome host and helped us navigate to wherever we wanted to go. Including a quick trip to the dentist for my husband which Tom, her husband, drove us to. We enjoyed lots of wildlife including monkeys in the trees. This place is very private yet close to everything. We definitely will return.
This was a beautiful place to stay- secluded and quiet! The pool area was a bonus and very relaxing! Waking up to monkeys outside our cottage swinging in the trees was the best! Marie is a wonderful host - very accommodating and offered many good tips on site seeing option’s!
We loved the place. Close to everything and the sunset that hosts Tom and Marie took us to ( and the food was great also) was fantastic. The pool and BBQ are were a great way to relax while there. Their knowledge of the area, best places to go, and local attractions were invaluable during our visit.
