I stayed at Coconut Beach House this month for multiple weeks. The property was beautiful and located only a 5 minute walk away from the beach! The host was very accommodating and answered all my questions promptly. The facilites were clean, had a/c in the rooms and the pool was an excellent addition when I was feeling too lazy to walk to the beach! Thankyou to the team for making my stay so wonderful! If you are in the area definitely book with Coconut and ask about the local experiences available to add on to your booking to get a VIP tour of the area! 🥥 🌴

In my years traveling, I’ve never encountered an average Google rating that was more puzzling than that for Coconut Beach House. I want to be fair to the owners/managing family, who were most kind and attentive to my wife and I, but I also want to be fair to prospective guests by objectively describing why our accommodations fell far short of 4.8. Our studio had a number of things to recommend it. It was not unclean. It’s about a ten-minute walk to the beach. It had a sizable fridge, good AC, a TV, good Internet service, and off-street parking. There were sufficient outlets in fairly convenient places for charging our electronic devices. The kitchen area included a good coffee maker, a rice cooker, pans, a newish hotplate, and was just one cup away from a complete set of dishes for four. The bathroom was beautifully tiled. But there were also a number detracting features, some significant, some that would be trivial for a lower rated place. Our apartment did not face the swimming pool but the parking area. Shockingly, our unit had no hot water and we learned that only one did (fortunately tap temperature was tepid, not cold). The cabinet for clothes was flimsy, unsteady, and lacked a rod for hanging things. The bathroom sink was very small, which might be the reason that no soap was provided for it. The shower curtain rod was bent and the bathmat below it was old and badly frayed along one edge. The toilet was stained at the bottom and the trash can next to it was rusting. In any place where you cannot put toilet paper down the toilet, replacing the bathroom trash should be a daily routine. Ours was not emptied once during our three-day stay. Also rusting was the bottom of the refrigerator. Although we counted three table knives and an abundance of spoons, there was but one fork. The concrete counter, while stylish at a distance, had a multitude of stains on top. The beds, while spacious, had sheets with some spots. Each of us were bitten by mosquitos in our sleep, which seemed a mystery since we were careful to keep the door closed at night. On our last day we discovered behind a curtain the probable reason – the glass of one window had a one-inch gap at the bottom!
