Conchal Hotel & Papaya Restaurant

I had such an incredible stay at Conchal Hotel & Papaya Restaurant! From the moment I arrived, the staff were so warm and welcoming, it truly felt like being welcomed into a little family. The food was amazing every single day, fresh and delicious, and something I genuinely looked forward to. I also loved relaxing by the pool, perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring or for a pool day. Everything about this place made my trip special. The atmosphere, the people, the food… it was all wonderful. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Costa Rica. 🌴✨ Thank you again for making my trip so special!

Overall, this hotel was quite disappointing and does not justify its price. The furniture is old and worn, cleanliness is below standard, and there was a persistent moldy smell in the room. The windows and doors are poorly insulated, which results in a lot of noise, making it difficult to rest. Considering the condition and comfort level, the price is far too high for what is offered. On the positive side, the bed was large and comfortable, the on-site restaurant was decent, and the staff was friendly and helpful. One of the nicest aspects was the surrounding nature — we saw many iguanas and colorful birds around the property, which added a pleasant tropical touch. The hotel is also within about a 20-minute walk to Playa Conchal. In short, Brasilito itself is rather quiet and not very lively, with few restaurant options, which may not suit travelers looking for activities or nightlife.

A perfect spot for a slow paced vacation. The pool area is great. Room was clean and spacious. Staff is very helpful and friendly. 20 min walk to the beach or short drive to the marina for excursions. It is on a main road, if you’re a light sleeper get a sound machine and you’ll be alright. Love it here. Would come back
