5 stars!!! Awesome time!!! We had an amazing experience with Connect Ocean Flamingo Dive Center! Our Dive Master Sarah was excellent. This business specializes for n smaller groups with personalized attention. The rental gear was the best quality I have ever experienced in my 26 years of diving. They had integrated digital air/depth gauges which was much easier to read and track. Their boats are optimized for smaller groups and get you to and from the dive sites quickly and easily. In between dives they had warm Roibos tea and cookies to refuel. All of the staff were kind and professional. The owner stopped by after the dive to check in and make sure we had a great experience. During our dive we say turtles, numerous eels, rays, sharks, and starfish. Absolute fantastic experience.
This was one of my best dive experiences. The shop and take off point were in a very safe, convenient location in the Flamingo Marina. The crew was super friendly, they had all the equipment ready for me and handled the process very well. I was diving alone, but we split the boat into 2 smaller groups and 3 of us had our own guide, which made it very personable. Our guide had an underwater board to write down the species names we saw as we went, which was a ton! The conditions were far from ideal, with strong eastern winds and poor visibility, but we managed to find a couple great sites and see a ton of sea life. They even had some delicious banana bread and hot tea in between dive spots. If you are diving in the area I would highly recommend Connect Ocean.
Excellent experience with Connect Ocean. I would like to highlight their professionalism and the human touch of their team in every interaction. Their commitment to caring for and respecting the ocean, as well as preserving marine life, is truly remarkable. I personally had the opportunity to complete my Advanced Open Water Diver, Emergency First Response, and Rescue Diver courses with Connect Ocean, which I recommend, as the groups are small and the instructors are highly qualified.
