El Garden works like a small open-air food yard: several kitchens and a microbrewery sharing one relaxed garden close to the beach. Reviewers hop from craft beer to pizza to ceviche to a passion-fruit margarita in a single visit and recommend the whole circuit. Vegetarians get real options — the vegan sliders and pesto–roasted tomato pizza have fans — and the fries get all-caps praise. Friendly people, quick pizza, and a crowd of local regulars round it out.

I went to "El Garden" with my girlfriend. We had a couple of beers at "Cerveceria independiente", a pizza in "La Pizzetteria II", a ceviche at "Gracia" and a passion fruit Margarita at the "Bar". We strongly recommend this place, the people were super nice and the food and drinks were delicious.
We have been here a handful of times over the years, but this will be the last time I give them my money. I ordered some Parmasean Fries that should have totalled 3000 colones. They charged me 3850 colones, and when I said the numbers didn't add up, the reply was that it was the IVA, which again did not add up. What they did was charge me for the Loaded Fries (those numbers do add up) and gave me my order of Parmasean Fries. Essentially they took me for an extra dollar US. Hope it was worth it.
Fast pizza. Gorgeous outdoor spot. Relaxed and close to the beach. 4 different restaurants and a microbrewery. Vacation prices. Good burritos.
