Flamingo Marina Resort

This is a 1 star hotel. No joke. I do a fair share of traveling (33yrs old) ill stay in about any condition facility (The GF not so much) BUT people need to know the truth about this place because the website and pictures are VERY misleading. This "resort" is abandoned and they are still renting out the rooms. **Any local we talked to felt bad for us having to stay there, that should tell you something. There is 1 maybe 2 people over looking the entire property. There was No receptionist or anyone around upon arrival around 3:30-4:00. We literally thought we got dropped off at a fully abandoned building. One of the reception desks was full of construction tools & equipment. No gate attendant Overall didn't have a very "safe" vibe going on. Finally someone saw us and came to check us in. *They barley spoke any English (Filled out a piece of paper with my name and minimal info, got no receipt of it or anything. Had to ask for a Pic of it when we left early) Got to the room and that's where the fun started!..... Not a single amenity in sight besides 2 bath towels on the counter. Very tiny bathroom Water didn't work upon arrival Shower was disgusting and had very little pressure, good luck washing your hair if you're a woman. Stains on the bedding No phone Wifi barley worked No nightstand lamp No little shampoo or conditioner No wash rag No refrigerator No microwave Beds are very uncomfortable and 6-8" off the ground. No dresser to put clothes or table Nada & Nothing! Tiny little TV on the wall that is it Oh and A/C, that was the ONLY saving part to be stuck there the 2 out of 4 days we had originally booked but found a different location and left ASAP. No one cleaned or brought fresh towel daily We asked to change rooms to the one next to us that was a little bigger and had a refrigerator. (we could walk right into it and look around because it wasn't locked from room to room). Nothing in there was really any better besides being a little bigger, had a fridge & kitchen area. We were told that we couldn't move rooms because everything was booked up and someone was moving in the next day to that room. That was all a lie. Noone moved in the next day and I could go online and see there were still rooms available to be booked. The pool was dirty upon arrival. Pool bar is permanently closed down. Restaurant is permanently closed down. There's really nothing here to be called a "resort" its a motel at best. Bare minimum! Its not a "good deal, great price" location this is a $50/night room MAX. **The property does not respond to messages or calls either. You literally have to go wait at the reception desk for someone to come around and see you if you need anything. The view was great, its close to all the action, nice little beach but all u get is a bed on the ground in a tiny empty room.

It’s under construction for last 7 or 9 years to be honest is abandoned all pictures are from early 2000 don’t waste your money here completely bigger No bueno Motel we ever stay . Don’t Stay Here .

We had a great stay at flamingo! The bed was comfortable, the view of the ocean was fantastic and the guest services was spectacular! My only complaints is the pillows could be better. Overall we would come back to this clean, comfortable condo.
