Diego and Junior are the crew anglers can't stop thanking — nine-for-ten on sailfish one trip, releases of two apiece for a group of four on another, plus marlin, tuna, and a big bull dorado. When the yellowfin come over the rail, fresh sashimi appears on deck. The boat is immaculate and well stocked, lunch is local Costa Rican cooking, and Melissa patiently answers every pre-trip question. Anniversary couples and novice anglers report the same ending: already planning the next trip out.

What an experience of a lifetime with this crew and this outfit. 9 for 10 on sailfish. Two dorado one of which was a big bull. They take great care of you and now how to get on the fish. The reviews didn’t disappoint and even exceeded my expectations. I would definitely do another trip with them.
Gamefisher II offered a truly unforgettable experience. On a trip with family, we went out with Junior and Diego two days. They had us on fish the entire time. Sails, marlin, tuna, and mahis. The coolers were stocked and the lunch of local Costa Rican cuisine was excellent. The atmosphere on the boat is relaxed and allows you to truly enjoy the trip. I would recommend Gamefisher II to anyone looking for an unforgettable fishing trip while in Costa Rica.
Our group had an amazing day out on the Gamefisher II with Diego and Junior. They are truly masters of their craft. The boat was well stocked and immaculate. We caught 6 yellow fin, and hooked 1 dorado that got free! We were surrounded by spinner dolphins showing off for hours — an unforgettable day! Fresh sashimi was to die for and endless cool beverages. A huge thank you to the owners and especially Diego & Junior for the once in a lifetime experience 😊 Highly recommend and don’t hesitate to book with them!
