Gritanga

Gritanga was one of the best casual meals we had during our trip. We ordered the birria tacos, shrimp tacos, and a plate of nachos with added guacamole, along with two beers. Everything was delicious. The flavors were fresh and well-balanced, and every dish felt thoughtfully prepared rather than just typical bar food. The biggest surprise was the portion size. The nachos were huge, and combined with the tacos, it was a lot of food for two people. We left completely satisfied and felt it offered excellent value. The total bill came to about $80 CAD, including all the food, guacamole, and two beers. Given the quality of the food and the generous portions, we thought it was one of the best values we found in the Potrero area. If you're looking for a casual spot with great tacos, generous portions, and reasonable prices, Gritanga is an easy recommendation. The birria tacos and loaded nachos are especially worth ordering. 🌮🍺🥑

Loved the Birria tacos! Location is awesome, right next to a micro brewery! Service is fast and very friendly! Will return and probably get the Birria in what ever else they put it in, or tacos again! Some of the best Birria I have tried and I will order Birria whenever I see it on a menu! Location is awesome! Pretty much part of the brewery in an open food court with neiboring reasturants serving other options if someone in the groups want to try somthing else, even though they should just go for the Birria! Saved on my list of awesome places to eat in Costa Rica for sure!

We spent a week in Potrero and are already planing our next trip back for Gritanga’s Tacos. The service was friendly and quick. The taco selection offers something to please everyone. We enjoyed the birria tacos more than once this week, they were that good!! The perfect dinner, lunch, or mid-afternoon snack. Everything was so fresh & flavourful. Highly recommend.
