A local independent beachfront hotel that reviewers describe as perfect for what it is: friendly, relaxed staff, clean rooms, a seaside café and bar, and a pool, all a quick walk from Playa Conchal. Guests mention howler monkeys in the trees outside, good cheap food at the attached restaurant — one calls the gallo pinto the best in town — and sodas next door. Simple rooms (book one with AC for the hot months) in a location that carries it.

We loved our 5 day stay! Alondra and Jesus were such great people that we talked with at the reception desk. Conchal Beach was our favorite beach of all that we tried nearby. There is a trail I found on alltrails.com at the far end of Conchal, that goes up a hill to a great view for sunrise. They're are lots of delicious restaurants nearby, with this hotel having the best pinto gallo in town! Room was clean and the bed was comfy.
Perfect for what it is. A local independent beachfront motel with a great seaside cafe and bar. The staff is so friendly and relaxed. We enjoyed the pool and the quick walk to Playa Conchal.
Hotel Brasilito was great - though we did have a room without AC and that was pretty miserable for peak summer temps. Besides that - location is great, howler monkeys in the trees outside, the restaurants/sodas nextdoor had great food, and the staff was very friendly upon checkin. Will be back (and will be getting a room with AC!).
