Our group of 6 from Alaska stayed here for 6 nights. It was close to our fishing charters and had a pool and was very reasonably priced. Coffee and breakfast was quite good and just what we needed before spending 8 hours fishing in the ocean. Rooms are modest but clean, and all have good air-conditioning and a good sized refrigerator. There's a Mercado 100 feet away, an ATM and laundry, 200 yards away. There are tons of restaurants within walking distance. Plenty of gated parking for free. Perfect for our group.

Had a great stay in this chill, simple, quiet hotel. It does not offer luxury, but bed is comfortable, a/c works, swimming pool available, breakfast included. Next door a supermarket well stocked up, even souvenirs and a great automatic coffee machine with good tasting coffee.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and left feeling very disappointed. The hotel has a very high online rating (4.5 out of 5), which we honestly do not understand — it does not reflect reality. The hotel is very old and poorly maintained. Around the fence and along the perimeter of the property there is what looks like a dump: broken plastic furniture, plant waste, old roof tiles and other trash. I personally saw a hotel employee carrying a plastic bag of garbage and throwing it into a remote area of the hotel grounds instead of proper disposal. Breakfast was a serious issue. There were many flies during breakfast, which was very unpleasant. I managed to look into the kitchen and was shocked by the unsanitary conditions: dirt, poor hygiene and a bad smell. The breakfast food was the same every day, very basic. On the third day, instead of cheese, there was only a spoon of mayonnaise. After the third day, we developed diarrhea, which raises serious concerns about food safety. Rooms: The rooms are large and spacious, with comfortable beds, a good refrigerator, plenty of storage space, and daily cleaning was done well. However, the walls are dirty with visible stains, and the furniture is old and worn. There is no dishware at all — not even glasses. No napkins, only a bar of soap. There were also ants in the room. On the hotel grounds near the pool, there was always a man lying in a hammock, possibly a member of the owners’ family. He did not greet or interact with guests, and his constant presence in the guest area made us feel uncomfortable. If he is not a guest, we do not understand why he is always in a common guest space. Location: The hotel is located next to a very noisy road, and there is construction of a large residential complex right behind the fence. From 6 a.m., trucks will wake you up. The hotel claims to be close to the sea (about 7 minutes on foot), but do not be misled. First, it is not a beach, but a marina with yachts and boats. Second, there is no sidewalk, and the road is very busy — we did not feel safe walking there. Pros: Large parking area Beach is not very far by car Swimming pool Beach towels are provided Friendly staff Overall, this hotel does not deserve its high rating. We are writing this review to warn other travelers to lower their expectations and carefully consider their choice.
