La Forketta

The tuna steak was pretty delicious. The vegetarian pizza, the vegetables were not cooked, kinda hard. Tenderloin was great with the mushroom cream sauce, the veggies side was lightly steamed almost too el dente. The ravioli was great but a little over cooked. The four cheese pizza was very smokey. Kind of pricey. Went on a Tuesday and they wanted reservations around 7pm but we were able to get in without them.

I cannot recommend this place enough. It is a local gem in the area that you don’t want to miss on your trip. Unfortunately we found this on our last night, I wish we could have gone again! The service and food were superb. The lasagna was some of the best I’ve had. Our server told us they simmer the sauce for hours, and you can tell! FYI it’s best to make a reservation. We were able to be seated on a busy night because the staff members were extremely kind and moved a table around for us, but they said most nights they are booked up.

Our friends told us we had to visit this place. It was in between seasons so we were able to walk in without reservations. During high time, it’s a must to have a reservation. It’s lined up down the street. The owners are from Italy, now their niece and her boyfriend is the Chef are running it as the original owners have opened a second delicious location in Liberia. The service is a team dynamic and over the top amazing. The food - delicious, outstanding!!! We had the lasagne and the homemade pasta dish. Both were so good, I kept dreaming about and had to have their food again before we went home. There are very welcoming and super knowledgeable. They made some wine recommendations we loved and then went and bought it at the store. It’s a quaint restaurant with a truly authentic tone. You must visit this place!!
