About
A small grill perched on the ridge at Las Catalinas, and when it lands, it lands: reviewers praise the steaks and tuna steaks, fantastic shrimp, red snapper, and servers who make honeymoon dinners memorable. Worth knowing before you go: the dining room is small with a lean staff, so service can stretch; one couple found the skirt steak underwhelming for the price; and a family reports children under 12 were not seated. Confirm policies when reserving.

I had the shrimp and they were fantastic. My wife had the red snapper and it was good. Service very good and the overall venue is perched atop the ridge. Worth an evening!
We loved La Pampa and had two excellent dinners there over our honeymoon. Victor was our server and did a fantastic job. We highly recommend the steaks, tuna steaks, and more!
We made a reservation for 5 on open table. We called to confirm and even walked in the day before to see the hotel. Our daughter is 6 and our son is 8. We showed up for our 6pm reservation and they refused to seat us because our children were under 12. I understand that some resorts and restaurants have that requirement, but it should be clearly stated. We gave them plenty of opportunities. Las Catalinas has few restaurants that do not require reservations and there isn't take out. The nearest city is 15 to 20 mins on bad roads. The manager would not even come talk to me. Then kept me on hold and eventually hung up. This rudeness is extreme and atypical of Costa Rica. If you value personal service then I would avoid this place. Every other place we ate was friendly. Support them.
