We had the most wonderful experience all around at this restaurant. So much so that we came back and did it again on our very short trip. And once again, the experience was amazing. Even more amazing than the first time. The first time we came, the food was impeccable, the atmosphere was so relaxed and casual. We had a family of four with a three-year-old girl and an 11-year-old boy. My son said that his burger was the best burger he has had in his entire life… And he’s had some pretty phenomenal burgers. The second time we came back, my husband also had the burger and agreed wholeheartedly with my son. I had the special both times, which was the whole snapper… I wouldn’t say it’s the prettiest plate around… But it makes an impact! The Snapper was phenomenal. But more than just the food, the atmosphere at the restaurant is friendly and welcoming and relaxed. I can’t remember who helped us the first time but he directed us to games that we could play as a family, he checked multiple times that are slushies were perfect, and he bought everything that we asked for and everything that we could anticipate needing. The second time I feel like we were served by the owner. I asked a question about something that looked like a birdhouse on the property, and he took the time to go into great detail about his bees. It was an experience that none of us will soon forget in the best possible way.

What a nice gem in the area. It was my first time in Costa Rica. We came for a 5 day Retreat, 2 of the nights we dined here. Really nice food, the staff is friendly. The owner even made us his special chocolate dessert that wasnt on the menu! So thoughtful! Definitely recommend it!
