Reserva Conchal Beach Resort, Golf & Spa

A hour + away from the nearby airport. Very slow staff. One cart driver working for the entire resort that basically is spread out far enough that carts are mandatory. Low quality food and poorly mixed drinks that are $25+ ea. Front desk staff that only speaks passing English. The fancy restaurant is overpriced for the tasting menu, and they cook the filet well-done and will simply take it away if you ask for medium rare. They close all the restaurants between 10:30 and 12, and have 30 min staff meetings at 12 delaying the opening even more. There should always be one restaurant open, not here. I would recommend against this spot.

We stayed at Aromo townhouse/Westin/W property gated community, perfect for family of 6, with pool, main floor bedroom and two more BRs on second floor. Conveniently located with easy access to members only beach club via 5 minute shuttle ride (on demand until 10pm) or car and all local spots( Soda restaurants, super markets etc,...). Beach Club amenities aplenty=pool, gym/fitness center, golf, beach, horseback riding, kayaks, sup, etc...pool bar/restaurant and shops.

After owning a house on this resort for years and paying very high beach club fees, I had a second absolutely terrible customer service experience courtesy of Ariana Gomez at the spa (pictured below). My girlfriend and our friend accessed the spa which is included in the beach club fees to use the cold plunge and hot tub. We were told by the front desk who apparently thinks she is Ariana Grande not Gomez that the spa was full. We stated we did not need spa or facial of massage services we would just like to use the hot tub and cold pool. We were again told it was full. The second photo shows the one individual that was using the hot tub. Ariana was rude and ignorant and was obviously not telling the truth about the spa which is included in the beach club fees and we only use once or twice a year. Immediately after leaving the lobby, our neighbor showed up (who is Costa Rican) and was let into the hot tub. This may have been a case of racism by a local receptionist as we felt extremely discriminated against. The customer service at all of the beach club (excluding the waiters/waitresses at the restaurant) is atrocious and I would not recommend purchasing a property here.
