About
The Lucky 13 sunset sail is the outing reviewers call their favorite day in Costa Rica — Captain Bismarck and mates like Jeffrey, Johnathan, and Gerald get thanked by name. The formula holds across reviews: a smooth ride out, a swim-and-snorkel stop where a mate gets in the water with you, then chicken tacos, cowboy caviar, and an open bar as the sun goes down. Small groups, real value; repeat customers say it keeps getting better.

We did the lucky 13 sunset sailing, and absolutely was a highlight of our trip. Special shoutout to the Captain and first mates. They genuinely were so nice, and the service was exceptional. We had a beautiful ride out and then got to swim and snorkel in the water. One of the first mates snorkeled with us, and showed us tons of amazing wildlife. The drinks, tacos, and cowboy caviar were so good. Can’t recommend these guys enough. Thanks again gentlemen! Pura vida!
Our family of 5 did the sunset lucky 13 mixed group and highly recommend if you're a small group!! Had 3 amazing guides who made the sail effortless - included open bar, snacks, chicken tacos, and a beach stop with snorkeling. Must do if you're in the Liberia / Flamingo area.
Our experience on the Lucky 13 was by far our favorite day of the entire trip! The crew (Johnathan and Gerald) were so welcoming and made us feel comfortable right away. The boat was beautiful, we immediately got up on the bow and were constantly waited on with drinks and the most delicious fresh food (my favorite meal of the trip). Snorkeling was a blast, we even got to see some dolphins and a gorgeous sunset. Would absolutely book this again and highly recommend to anyone interested. It's an incredible value for the price and priceless memories we'll never forget.
