About
A casual soda steps from Playa Brasilito and close to Conchal, known for big portions at low prices, served fast. Reviewer favorites include the shrimp with rice and the fish casado. Fair warning from the reviews: this is simple, no-frills beach eating — some visitors found dishes uneven and recommend checking your receipt — so come for a quick, cheap plate near the sand rather than a polished meal.

The food was decent. The portion was large, however, the flavor was lacking a bit. I went to the restaurant in the night time and had an outdoor type of seating. The night brings on some questionable creatures walking past you while you're eating (and I'm not talking about animals..) The food was cooked well and was served fast. The soda is located right by the beach which is nice. I met a little friend there which made my experience more enjoyable.
We got shrimp and calamari, which were heavily breaded, and the fries were really dry and tasted like old oil, which was disappointing because we wanted to sample some of the local Costa Rican sodas. The service was quite poor. I won't even begin to discuss just how dirty the sauce bottles appeared!
Great spot for a quick and cheap meal, I had rancheros eggs and order water and got it in this huge vodka bottle. Service was okay. Food was fine.
