A family soda in Potrero where the casados, fajitas in fresh-made corn tortillas, and blended juices — tamarind, passion fruit — keep travelers coming back, some twice in a week. Vegetarians and vegans call it one of the easiest places in the area to eat well, and the owners get called out for their friendliness; Ruth earns her own shoutout. Excellent food! Very homely and light on the stomach. Made with the freshest of ingredients. We had a passion fruit juice, Casado and fried rice with vegetables. Highly recommended especially for vegetarians and vegans. Owners are super friendly!
Soda Marcell is our spot!! Every time we visit Costa Rica...we always stop here to eat...sometimes twice in one week. Food is always on point and service is great! You gotta try this spot...don't miss out on Soda Marcell! Shoutouts to Ruth!! 😎
AMAZING!!! Stopped in for lunch, fresh blended tamarind juice was fantastic, service was great! We ordered burger and fries and a fajita. The fajita arrived in a fresh made corn tortilla and everything tasted amazing. What a gem in the Potrero area!
