About
A quiet local soda where the casado con carne en salsa comes tender and full of flavor, the pineapple juice is blended after you order it, and every table holds a batch of homemade pickled carrot, onion and cauliflower. Reviewers came for red snapper at lunch and were back for breakfast the next morning. Portions are substantial and prices low: a casado, a kid's sandwich and two fresh juices ran one family just over 9,000 colones. Service is friendly and quick.

Perfect local breakfasts. Very friendly service and super efficient. Their fresh juices are great too. We went there twice and both were excellent.
The casado con carne en salsa was an excellent choice. Super flavorful and tender meat, well-cooked potatoes, a delicious pico/salad, some plain black beans, and one strip of fried plantain. I would've loved another piece or two of the plantain, but the portion of the overall platter was substantial. The kid got the ham and cheese sandwich. It came on a hoagie-style sesame seed bun which was nicely toasted. I could hear the fresh pineapple juice being blended after we ordered it. Super happy with the choice. Would get again. On each table there is a homemade batch of pickled vegetables (carrot, onion, cauliflower) that was a really nice addition to the plate- pretty strong vinegar flavor which I enjoyed. Casado, sandwich, and two pineapple drinks ran us just over 9,000 colones which, in my book, was a solid value. Will be back!
This little soda can't be beat. Delicious red snapper for lunch brought us back for desayuno the next day. The prices are great, service awesome and you will not go away hungry
