Soda Sol y Luna

6 of us ate dinner and it was by far our best meal in Costa Rica. Food was way better than most soda restaurants we've been to, and our server was truly great. It's a little noisy by the street, but it was rodeo day, so the area was buzzing. Highly recommended. For 6, our bill came to 62,000, but we ordered a massive amount of food. The smoothies were exceptional!

The food here is soooo good! Typical Costa Rican food and not overpriced! My boyfriend and I loved coming here during our stay in Brasalito. Plus the portions are huge. Definitely recommend the Gallo Pinto, Casado con pollo en salsa, arroz con camarones, Casado con carne en salsa and the fish burritos.

We ordered our food takeout, but every indication was positive a positive experience if we ate there. Sol y Luna is in the downtown area of Brasilito and it's not the easiest storefront to spot. The effort, however, is well worth it. We had the Cosado and Fish Filet that came with rice and beans. The fish was perfectly cooked and the cosado exploded with surprising flavor. We've been to a few places now where rice and beans are a staple, but this was the first time I noticed real flavor in the beans. The dish also came with a large prepared slice of plantain. It was simply delicious, as was the whole meal. We added guacamole and chips to start and everything was to satisfaction. Sol y Luna is an exceptional value as well. We highly recommend it if you're in the are. Look for parking across the street and around the square.
