About
Reviews here split sharply, so read before you book. On the plus side: clean, nice units, good security and parking, well-kept grounds, a clean pool, and a location ten minutes' walk from the beach and five from a grocery store. The recurring complaint is what's missing — guests repeatedly report no blankets and no basic kitchen supplies like dish soap, and front-desk service several found unhelpful. Self-sufficient travelers fare best: pack what you need.

When we arrived we had to walk, and were escorted by them, to the very back with all our luggage and groceries, we asked if they had a cart or could take us on the golf cart- we were told no they don’t have anything. Later found out they have luggage carts and grocery carts… Our unit was nice and clean- but lacked basic items required. No dish soap. No sponge. No spatula. No blankets. Not a disaster, but when renting a place with a kitchen, I didn’t think I’d have to purchase soap and a sponge to wash the dishes. All our other stays (5) on this trip included these items. We finally ended up getting blankets from reception after about 15 minute conversation. Security was good and plenty of parking. 10 min walk to the beach and 5 min to grocery store. Pool was nice and clean- but closed early at 7pm. Grounds were nice and clean.
The front desk staff at this hotel were rude and unhelpful. They don’t provide basic amenities, no blankets, no extra pillows, and no cleaning supplies for the kitchenette. When I asked for a sponge and dish soap to wash the dishes after cooking, I was told I could either go to the store and buy them myself or be charged by the hotel. Costa Rica was an amazing trip overall, but the poor service at this hotel was definitely a low point.
The rooms here are fine, but the service and attention to detail are terrible. The front desk staff are rude, and the hotel doesn’t provide basic necessities—no blankets, no extra pillows, and not even cleaning supplies for the kitchenette. My husband asked for a sponge to wash dishes and was told it would cost extra. Honestly, what kind of hotel operates like that?
