About
An eight-unit building right on a quiet bay — out the back gate and you're standing on the beach. Guests describe well-stocked kitchens, comfortable beds, quiet air-conditioning, and balconies with views they didn't want to leave; a family of seven arriving late at night found everything ready and spotless. Hosts Mike and Erma get warm mentions. It's not a busy tourist strip, and reviewers count that as the point: sunsets, beach walks, and beachside dinners in both directions.

Beautiful beach front home away from home Our family of 7 (parents and 5 adult kids) got in late at night, and after figuring out which door was ours, we were greeted by a clean smelling, beautifully decorated, well stocked, beach front, amazing views, comfortable beds, great layout, perfect location home away from home. The beds were so comfortable, the air conditioning and ceiling fans were awesome, and the showers were great! So nice to have shampoo, conditioner and body wash. We shopped locally and cooked in for some meals. We loved several of the local restaurants and celebrated new years at hemingways with a full fireworks show! It was awesome. Having a car was a great way to explore the other nearby beaches/towns. We couldn't believe the sunsets and how everyone goes out to watch them. Favorites: las catalinas - hikes, food at celeste, shopping, beaches, architecture; beaches - playa conchal (walk across the beach to get there was so cool) playa flamingo (great snorkeling, awesome food at coco loco) tamarindo - went for sunset, food market and evening market ... Such a vibe. All in all, we loved our stay at twin dolphins. We felt safe, spoiled with our views and so comfortable in the beautiful accommodations. Don't miss this amazing spot. Great location. Also, take the "monkey road" from the liberia airport. It is bumpy, narrow and crazy, but driving through 2 rivers and seeing monkeys along the way was epic. We loved gifting our kids this trip for christmas - we all want to come back! Pura vida!!
This is an 8 unit building. I stayed at a VRBO in the building, Unit 1B managed by Krain. The unit is well kept and the kitchen is equipped with all tools and utensils. Wonderful, quiet AC'S in the main area and in the bedrooms. Comfortable beds. The yard is well kept and it is only a few steps, out the back gate, to the beach. I highly recommend this place.😎
We loved it. Perfect little place right on the beach.
