Come for the ceviche mixto — reviewers rank it among the best they've had — plus excellent fruit drinks, a Churchill dessert, and a big menu with genuinely friendly staff who've been known to watch travelers' bags. It sits in a busy part of Puntarenas where people may approach your table asking for money, so it's a livelier, less private setting than some.

Great food and great fruit drinks. The chicken fajitas tasted awesome. The beans and salsa were very tasty. The soft taco lacked the extra magic that the rest of the food had. The beef (lomo) dish was good. The potatoes were heavenly and vegetables superb. The beef was okay but not as outstanding as the rest of the food.
Attention was good. I ordered the Churchill with 2 different milks and ice cream. The best $4 desert you'll find anywhere. However, there are people coming up to your table asking for money nonstop. Seriously, there was one about every 2-3min. It makes it difficult to even have a conversation. At some point, enough's enough.
The ceviche was not Peruvian style, lacked flavor, and not very good. The fruit juices are excellent
