I really enjoyed my stay at bongo. The rooms were very clean and the pools were great. The staff of the hotel were extremely friendly and so helpful. I also saw lots of wildlife here including 3 different species of monkeys, Scarlet macaws and yellow throated toucans. It is also a 40 minute walk to a beautiful beach. It was also much more peaceful than other hotels I stayed at in manuel Antonio. Would definitely recommend staying here!

I have traveled to Quepos probably dozens of times, and BongO is definitely one of my favorite places. Close to Manuel Antonio, with a very natural, relaxing atmosphere, super friendly staff, and (very, very important) access to a beautiful, uncrowded beach: “Playa La Macha.” Stunning views and tranquility—I highly recommend trying to get to this hidden beach (it takes about a 25-minute walk to get there, and you have to be prepared to go down a tricky slope, but it's worth it).

I stayed in this hotel 5 days during Christmas 2024 and it was a nice experience. It is well located, next to the beaches and the city of Quepos. The environment is very nice : we saw a lot of birds and monkeys just next to our room ! We saw more animals in this hotel than in some parks ! The breakfast is good and the people working there are nice and helping. Each bedroom is a little house in the nature and it is very quiet. The only thing that can be improved is the bedroom decoration which needs a little refresh.
