Brisa Elegante, Day cruises aboard wooden Sailing Ship in Quepos & Manuel Antonio

A unique experience. Having done several "boat tours", this one was very special. It's a different style, a different vibe. This tour is not the, let's party, let's get a lot of booze, let's be loud tours. It's about a day of pleasant tranquility aboard a vessel that comprises a soul and where the team cares about you in every aspect. The tour started with a cruise to a location where we could see a pod of dolphins going back and forth. After that, we went to a little bay where we could do some water activities. Whether you just wanted to swim, get on a kayak or do some stand-up paddling, all available at your request. Activities were followed by the on-board meal, cooked by the on-board chef. We had "Red Snapper" with pasta, sauteed veggies and some salad. Several sauces were served for you individual gusto. A simple but delicious dinner. Finally we went back to the marina where we could experience the amazing Pacific sunset. All in all, a wonderful afternoon and a great relaxation. Go for it!

We loved exploring on the Brisa Elegante! Just make sure you prepare your sea legs ahead of time! We were greeted warmly with a super easy check-in process. The walk down the dock to the boat was probably about 300 yards. It was really cool to see the other boats and fish swimming in the marina. The crew lined the dock and boat, welcoming us on onboard. Bryan was the lead guide and he was so great! He clearly explained the boat, instructions and guidelines, and ran through what we could expect from the experience. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and fun! He engaged with all of the passengers, ensuring they were comfortable but also learning a bit about them. He never once shied away from a conversation with a passenger and you could tell he really enjoyed meeting new people and sharing the experience with them! There are a lot of great places to sit on the boat: the front had big bench seating, Adirondack chairs in the center, and chairs lining the sides. The back also had a big cushioned bench. There were also cushions in the center to lie down and sun bathe on. The drinks menu has something for everyone and they were delicious! They brought out platters of fresh fruit as we sailed the sea along the coast from Quepos to Manuel Antonio looking for animals. Then we found a spot in a bay to anchor and swim. There were noodles, float pad, stand up paddle boards, and snorkeling gear. Passengers could walk the plank, which was about 20ft high. Getting in and out of the water was easy. There are rooms below deck to change and use the bathroom. On our way back to the marina, we unfortunately didn't get a sunset, but we did get a tropical rainstorm! It absolutely poured on us, but there were covered options on the boat to mostly escape. The rain was warm and cleansing, and made for some big smiles and laughs! The captain and crew got us back to the dock safely. It was a great experience and I'd recommend it to anyone who can tolerate being out at sea on a sailboat. I wasn't fully prepared for the sways of a sailboat, but it made the experience that much more unique!

We had a wonderful afternoon on the water with the Brisa Elegante! We took seats on the aft deck, and before we knew it we were already enjoying a delicious cocktail. Since most people chose to sit on the foredeck, it felt like we had a private cruise! The seawater was perfectly warm, and of course we jumped into the water from the gangway 🙂 We were served a delicious meal, and on the way back we got to enjoy a beautiful sunset. The entire crew was incredibly friendly and helpful! We would definitely recommend this tour, especially because it’s not overly crowded and truly feels relaxed and personal.
