The place is down a sketchy alley way, but don't let it fool you, this place is a hidden gem. Vert comfortable, quiet, safe, clean, cute and cozy. Cesar, the owner, was so nice and accommodating and made some great suggestions for restaurants. The location is about a 15- minute walk to the Beach, and 5-minutes to other convienices ( stores, pharmacy etc.) So, if you're looking for a place like this, you found it. Thank you Cesar

Cesar Vargas, the patron, is a great host. Expedia's poor customer service caused us unnecessary difficulty contacting each other the day before I needed to check in, but once Cesar found a way to contact me directly everything else was smooth sailing. He greeted my wife and I warmly in his own home to introduce us to the property. Cesar provided us with the same level of customer service, warmth, and professionalism I expect (but rarely receive) staying at much more expensive properties. He is truly dedicated to taking care of you. The apartment was good. It was clean and spacious overall. The kitchen area was small, but had everything we needed to prepare our own meals when we wanted. The bathroom was clean, but needs some updates. The shower is large, with a tile bench to sit on. The showerhead water heater worked very well! The bedroom is large, but the mattress and sofa are not great. They have worn springs, and should be replaced. However, our price was very, very low compared to other, similar properties in Quepos, so to my wife and I the trade-off was well worth it. There is a large outdoor rock garden & sitting area, but there aren't outdoor chairs or a table, so the space isn't useful. I think this is something that should and can be changed for a very small investment. Chairs and a table for the very nice outdoor space would significantly increase the appeal and value. We experienced one problem with the apartment during the week we stayed, and Cesar got it fixed immediately. And I mean immediately! No delays, no excuses, just perfect, immediate customer service and repair.

This house is absolutely stunning, with lots of private space. Everything is updated, clean and makes you feel right at home. The room are big and cozy, and come with a TV. It has EVERYTHING you need! The location is great, close enough to banks, supermarkets etc., but secluded enough to get that Costa Rican nature vibe ( expect some monkey visitors outside the house every day)! The owner is SO friendly and helpful - I can't say enough great things about him! I would stay here forever if I could. ♥
