About
This is a villa rental in the gated Palmas Pacifica community — a quiet cul-de-sac on a wooded lot, with three en-suite bedrooms, a big sunny terrace, a large pool, and a BBQ. Capuchin monkeys and scarlet macaws pass overhead. Host Julio gets repeated praise for communication and for arranging in-home private-chef meals and a cooking class, plus restaurant recommendations and reservations. The community adds tennis and guided garden and night walks.

Fantastic vacation rental. Pool is great, location is perfect. Loved the layout and the hosts helped with many tasks, including babysitting and a local cooking session.
We had a wonderful stay at Casa Palmeras in February 2023. The house is incredible and it has wonderful outdoor space as well. The hosts were very helpful as we planned our trip and addressed all our questions quickly. It is a good spot for all the activities around Quepos/Manuel Antonio.
We had an absolutely outstanding stay at Casa Palmeras. This was our first time out of the US with our kids (10, 7) and so we were hesitant to go house vs hotel. We had a great stay at Shana by the Beach in MA before moving to Casa Palmeras. And it was awesome. First, the communication by Julio is fantastic and the house is as advertised and get comfortable. It was easy to find and access. Our first morning started with a private chef meal that Julio offered to coordinate. It was well worth it and if you stay here you should do it at least once. But be aware they make a ton of food!! We also did a private cooking class through the same service and it was great too. Throughout the stay, Julio checked in to make sure we didn't need anything and gave good advice on places to see or go for specific wildlife On our last night, we mentioned wanting to go to a nice dinner to cap off the stay and celebrate a work promotion, and Julio recommended a great restaurant and even called a friend to get us a reservation at a fantastic table. We got to watch the sunset from an ocean view table as macaws flew in front of us. I only half believe that story is true and I was there lol. Anyway. Highly recommend the place and if you stay, take his advice on food/tours and private chef and you'll be happy
