About
One of the few Chinese kitchens in Quepos, serving fried rice, chop suey, and spring rolls in generous, filling portions. Experiences vary widely: the freshly made chop suey has satisfied some diners at a fair price, while others have been let down. Go in with modest expectations for a quick, filling plate.

I saw some negative reviews before visiting and thought it probably wouldn’t be that bad. I was actually very happy to find a Chinese restaurant here. I ordered fried rice and spring rolls. The fried rice was okay and met my expectations. However, I was a bit disappointed with the spring rolls—they were quite bland, and the wrapper was thick and soft. I’m not sure if this is the restaurant’s style or if spring rolls here are meant to be this way, but it wasn’t what I expected.
We are very excited to try to eat a Cantonese food, by looking at the picture outside, but we had a very disappointing experience at this place. The service was terrible, with rude behavior from the staff. The food quality was very poor, and the price very expensive, (salsa-bread) and I noticed that hygiene practices were not followed properly; it seemed like the staff didn’t wash their hands or clean properly.” Please don’t go.
I don’t normally take time to write reviews; even when bad. But this guy on a Friday afternoon was the most rude on a town that lives of tourism. The food was average at best. The fried rice was hard, like the rice had been in the fridge for more than a few days. After a long wait (~45min) we made it to the hotel. We literally tried the food and dumped it. Had to go buy somewhere else. Lesson learned eat local food!
