Comidas Típicas Vicky's is a small soda in Quepos run by a mother and daughter, and the warmth comes through in the cooking — an authentic Plato Casado and a stuffed empanada, made with real care and priced gently (around 5,000 colones for a full meal). There's no AC, just a fan and good music kept low, plus a cute dog. Regulars call the value and the welcome hard to beat.

Very, very cool soda. I would say this is a hidden gem. Highly recommended. Excellent value for money and a great atmosphere. The owner and the head chef are really super friendly and the food tastes absolutely fantastic. I can't believe this restaurant had no reviews. Seriously – come here!
Very authentic experience and food. We had a coke, a Plato Casado and a relleno empanada and it was 5,000 ($10). No AC but there’s a fan. Highly recommend! The owner and her daughter are super sweet.
