Hosts Mike and Paul run this adults-only guesthouse with a care guests call attentive but never intrusive, down to help finding tours and restaurants. The home-made breakfast comes up again and again, along with a relaxing pool that has a covered area for when it rains. It sits conveniently between Manuel Antonio and Quepos, rooms are kept remarkably clean, and two resident dogs tend to steal the show.

Fantastic place, a hidden paradise very close to Quepos and Manuel Antonio NP. Mike was super nice and helped us a lot with finding tours, restaurants, activities. We also very much enjoyed the pool and the delicious breakfast.
Coyaba Tropical Guesthouse is a gem—comfortable, tastefully decorated, and perfectly located between Manuel Antonio and Quepos. Rooms and facilities are remarkably clean. Hosts Mike and Paul couldn’t be more caring while staying discreet. A few days here, splitting time between the beach and pool, the National Park, and other activities, just feels right—and the nearby dining options hit the spot even in low season. Peaceful, convenient, and genuinely welcoming. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Honestly such a brilliant find. Hosts Mike & Paul work hard to make sure you have a lovely time. Loved staying there - even booked a couple extra nights.
