What a beautiful place! The views are incredible, the house is so lovely, with four beautiful bedrooms, each with its own balcony, four and a half baths and gorgeous pool and grounds. Camilo, our concierge, was absolutely superior in every way, answering questions before our arrival, greeting us, arranging tours and transportation - anything and everything we asked for was answered and handled immediately. He also introduced us to private chefs, Alessandro and Diego. I cannot recommend them enough! They prepared three meals for us, our dinner for our arrival, breakfast the next morning and dinner our final evening before our departure - probably the best red snapper I have ever eaten. Everything was absolutely delicious and extremely reasonable for our group of eight, which included two vegetarians and one vegan. They prepared delicious special dishes to accommodate their needs as well. If you stay at Villa Marbella, don’t miss the opportunity to have them cook for you! The housekeeper, Belen, did a lovely job of keeping the place spic and span, even doing some laundry for us. We miss Costa Rica, what a beautiful country. Pura Vida!

We had an incredible stay at Casa Grande Vista! The home is very spacious, comfortable, and easily fit our family of eight. The patio and pool area provided a wonderful hangout spot and incredible sunset views! Watching the macaws in the morning was an amazing way to start the day. Camilo was incredibly helpful, very responsive, and easy to work with. He arranged everything from transportation to activity reservations. In home private chef experience with Diego and his team was also a highlight. Incredible food prepared with love and fresh local ingredients. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Staying at Casa Moreno in Manuel Antonio was the highlight of our entire trip to Costa Rica! Next time we go, we will just rent this house and not stay anywhere else. The house itself was magnificent, and really all you need to experience Manuel Antonio. We could have stayed there for days and still felt like we were in the jungle, on the beach, and in the mountains (but way more comfortable). First though, I want to make sure to mention that CR Vacation Properties is the best company I've ever rented from on vacations, hands down. Mefi, our concierge, reached out to us before we got there and offered to help us with a driver and various tour packages, plus suggestions of where to buy groceries and where to eat. That might be common for companies like this, but he also added a more personal and extremely helpful touch: Mefi sent us a video from the vantage point of the driver of a car as it pulled into the neighborhood and up and around the curves to the (very steep) driveway. We arrived after dark, and that video was real peace of mind. The house was stocked with all sorts of items that made the stay more fun. There were guide books with pictures of the birds and wildlife in the area, and a pair of binoculars for viewing through the beautiful windows and the balconies. As for the house itself, the pictures are not lying. Unlike most places we've stayed, it feels like a real home, if a very upscale home. It does not have that "made to rent out" feel. We are a family of 6 with some big personalities, and it was just amazing to have so much space for each person, while also having such a gorgeous living and dining area. The view from the stovetop in the kitchen is of the Pacific Ocean, and you can watch the sun drop below the horizon while you cook dinner. Right outside that same part of the house there was a nest of Scarlet Macaws in an old tree. It was as if we had our own private viewing of those beautiful and funny birds. There were Iguanas everywhere! We could hear the Howler monkeys in the jungle. The entire upstairs is encased in windows, and the house is set up very high. You can see the ocean, but also the beach and a marina. In the mornings you can see the mist over the hills. The house was SPOTLESS. I never saw one insect or one stain on any part of the house. The way the house is built, it would be great for a group of families or couples as well. The downstairs rooms have doors to the outside balconies, the bathrooms are huge, and the laundry room was so great to have. Our kids had a wonderful time, running around the balconies and going in and out of the rooms, and lounging and playing in the pool. After we left, I discovered that I had left a bag of (inexpensive but sentimental) jewelry in the house. Mefi went to the trouble of looking into and visiting shipment companies to price out a shipment back to me in NJ. He wasn’t paid for that time, I couldn’t get back there to tip him, but he was so kind and genuine and communicative. It was so refreshing to still be in touch after our time as his tenant had expired. Stay at this house! Rent from CR Vacation Properties! Ask for Mefi!
