About
Locals point newcomers here for the ceviche, more than one diner calls it the best they've ever had, and for portions that are genuinely huge. The seafood leads, but the fish burger, pad thai with fish, poke bowls, and a BBQ platter for two all get love, and it's reasonably priced with warm, welcoming service. You'll leave full.

My wife and I had an incredible time at El Gran Escape! The ceviche was maybe the best we have ever had and our dishes were incredible. We both got seafood so we can’t speak too much to the rest, but it was maybe the best we’ve ever had. 10/10 recommends this place, and if you can get gorci (may be spelled differently) as your waiter your time here will be incredible
Best restaurant in Quepos, very friendly staff. We went there twice, first time we had pasta. Delicious and huge portions. Very reasonably priced. The next time we had the BBQ platter for 2, incredible portions and so tasty!
Great service from start to finish! The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcome. The best part though — the food is so good. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. And as a bonus, the portions are huge! Definitely coming back.
