After hearing about how chaotic the huge groups could be in MA, we decided that a private tour was the only way for us to go. Derek accommodated us & our group of three had a tour that was perfect. We saw so many Jungle creatures: BOTH kinds of sloths, monkeys, bats, & all sorts of birds & bugs. Derek is friendly & knowledgeable, with a fun sense of humor. He kept the pace comfortable & not rushed, & answered all of our questions. I couldn’t recommend him more. So much so that when I make my return trip with friends in August, I’ve already booked my next tour to Manuel Antonio with him!

Derek is the Man! I've traveled the world as a wildlife photographer, I thought I had good eyes. This guy crushed me. If you wondering if you should get this, get the private tour with Derek. Professional, excellent english skills, eagle eyed for animals, knowledgeable of the area, and having the private tour guide we could walk at our own pace. This was the best tour that we had the entire 2 week vacation in Costa Rica. Derek- you're killing it man, keep it up.
