About
The tree across the road is the local landmark here — howler and spider monkeys live in it, and a troop once crossed onto the hotel roof over the pool. Staff, Danny among them, get repeated thanks for being helpful, and the pool with its little bar is where guests wind down at night. It's a short drive to Manuel Antonio with a bus stop nearby, and travelers keep calling it good value.

Great location near Manuel Antonio Beach (2-3 min drive) (technically walking distance if you are younger). Very nice rooms, amazing staff (Danny helped us with everything we needed). Great price/value on the room. Food and drinks were great. Walking and driving distance to many great restaurants around the hotel. The pool is clean and relaxing at the end of the night.
Overall, Hotel Colibri is a super cute spot to stay. We had a rental car, but if you don't, Ubers are affordable, there's plenty of taxis, and a bus stop right nearby. Dani was really friendly upon check in. We spent a couple of hours at the pool everyday which is really nice and has a bar if you want some drinks. Rooms were spacious and mostly really clean. The walls could use a little extra love in the room we stayed in, and the owners were responsive to me mentioning a strong musty smell in our room. But air conditioning works and bathroom was really clean (which is important to me). The stay was honestly great for the price.
Great location, 10min drive to Manual Antonio national park. The hotel manager was really nice and friendly, she let us keep our stuff there after the check out. The room was clean but unfortunately there were little roaches in the bathroom in the night. The curtains weren't big enough to cover the windows especially when our room was near the entrance so everyone could see. There's monkeys climbing on the trees and the surrounding which is pretty cool.
