This is brutally honest.LOVE THE ROOM AND RESORT, beautiful decor fun atmosphere, but ...... Not sure if they are remodeling (congratulations) but The most squeakiest washer/dryer starts squealing across the entire complex at 5:50 a.m. and goes all day long workers startup 5:45am in the morning sanding cutting tile, putting scaffolding together outside everyone's room. The walls you can hear your neighbors and people walking down a hollow ramp every time.! I am grateful for the complimentary breakfast and a restaurant on property that stays open late till 10:00 but the kitchen stuff keeps their windows open. (understandable)and that's all you hear at 5:50am in the morning plates clinking as they're prepping breakfast and then when closing at 10pm same thing music and banging dishes. So if you intend to try to sleep in or go to bed early, bring your plugs and white noise. . Rooms were great. First night had no hot water. Second night had a perfect shower third night, The water did not come out of the shower head. It dripped out the side of a seal. Never got enough pressure to take a shower. Tried three times within an hour. But on a plus side, the most random note ever is. They have the thickist toilet paper than anywhere else in Costa Rica and it's scented 😆😁

My dad and I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Emily greeted us warmly at the front desk and showed us to our room which was clean and as advertised. We watched back to the future 3 in Spanish and I felt like I was learning a lot with no English subtitles. They made a nice breakfast for 2 straight days and it came with the room. No extra cost at all. They had 2 pool areas. Manuel Antonio was a short Didi bus or uber away and so cheap! When we got back, Valentina brought us towels and we took a swim in the pool after walking in the park all day. Jorge kept us safe keeping watch overnight and Michael refrigerated our leftover bacon for us. Each member of staff that we encountered went way out of their way for us and demonstrated excellent customer service. The last hour we were there I spotted some monkeys climbing on the roof and Valentina saw us see them and sensed our excitement so she showed us the terrace roof where they liked to hang out (no pun intended). She also pointed out a sloth in a tree we never would have spotted without her and she didn’t know the English word sloth so when I asked her what she meant by perezoso she literally ran to go find something to translate and then pointed him out to us. 11/10. Was there some construction across the street? Sure but whatever. It wasn’t intrusive. Would definitely come back. Pura Vida! Con gusto!

I brought my wife and her parents for dinner, and unfortunately it was one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had. Our server was Israel. We were seated, but after that it felt like there was a major lack of attention. Tables that arrived about 30 minutes after us received their food much sooner and were even able to pay before we even got our food. Our drinks also took a long time to come out. The restroom situation made things worse: the main restroom was locked, and I asked about it twice. I was told to walk around the entire hotel to find another restroom. When I finally reached one, the lights wouldn’t even turn on. Then, when I got back, they were suddenly able to unlock the main restroom after all. After waiting about an hour for our food, it arrived and it simply wasn’t good. Overall, nothing about the experience felt worth it—slow service, poor handling of basic needs like restrooms, and disappointing food. I wouldn’t recommend dining here.
