Hotel Tardes Doradas

Google says its on the opposite side of where it actually is. This place is very beautiful and I would stay here again! Very peaceful and clean! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The drive way up to the hotel is very steap but manageable!! It is very close to the town center where there is a lot of great places to eat and shop.

Amazing views from these units and the pool/kitchen area. The sunsets were stellar. Really quiet and while close to town, feels private. For the price, it’s a great little place. The rooms are designed thoughtfully so there is some privacy between them, but they’re still open air. There is no kitchen (or at least there wasn’t in the room we were in) but that’s okay because the communal area has lots of seating. The pool is gorgeous and the view from the pool is also amazing. The driveway to the accommodation is hella steep. The parking area is also quite small so it’s hard to turn around to go down the steep hill. The A/C in our unit could not keep up with demand during the day, and could barely keep up at night. We messaged to get it looked at and they immediately sent someone twice, the owners were very attentive. In the end though, the issue was not resolved. We didn’t request further assistance since we were leaving the next day, but hopefully it gets fixed. My favourite parts were the toucans are kind, the views, and the sunsets. I personally wouldn’t consider it in a particularly walkable area but I didn’t find Quepos to be very walkable.
