Ocean kayaking with Mario, whom everyone calls Red, who leads you down the coast to a quiet snorkeling spot and beaches the kayak at a less-crowded beach. He gets you out early before the crowds, prepares snacks like fresh pico de gallo and pineapple, and talks openly about the area's history and development. The bay snorkeling turns up parrotfish, angelfish and more.

We had an amazing experience with Kayak Adventure Costa Rica! Our guide, Mario (aka Red) was great and had everything ready to go when we arrived at 8 AM. We opted for the ocean kayaking and it was perfect. Mario led us down the coast and showed us various wildlife, gave us backstories on different beaches took us to a great snorkeling spot. Then we got to beach the kayak at a smaller and not so crowded beach. Mario even prepared a snack and drinks for us at the beach. Absolutely would recommend this company and the ocean tour specifically!
Wonderful experience! Our guide, Red, was awesome!!! He shared information about the wildlife, the area’s history, the present development, and so much more. I was very impressed with the snorkeling in the bay - I saw loads of my ocean favorites - Sergeant Majors, Parrotfish, several Angelfish varieties, Trigger Fish, a Tiger Snake Eel, Wrasse… and more! Thanks RED!!!🥰
Amazing experience with an amazing guide. Mario is so authentic and friendly. He made us a very good snack while chilling at Biesanz beach. We stopped for snorkeling and some peaceful and quiet spot to enjoy the view. Always nice to see authentic people with good vibes. I recommend
